The MCA is a statutory body created for the purpose of regulating and issuing licenses for the cultivation, manufacture, processing, extraction, import, export, testing, research, distribution, and sale of medicinal cannabis goods.

Regulate medicinal cannabis business and the sacramental use of cannabis for religious use within Antigua and Barbuda, and in so doing to consider the protection of the public to be the highest priority.
